Job summary

Landscape Elements is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Supervisor to lead daily operations for projects in Balcatta, Western Australia, and the broader Perth area. This full-time role emphasizes safe, efficient delivery and high-quality landscape construction.

You will manage a team, read plans, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and help improve our processes while ensuring WHS compliance. Australian permanent residency or equivalent work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Landscape Construction Supervisor or equivalent role.
• Hands-on experience with hardscaping, softscaping, irrigation systems, retaining walls, paving/stonework, and plant installation.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
• Current construction industry induction card (e.g. White Card) and driver’s licence.

Job description

Landscape Elements are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Balcatta, Western Australia. As a Landscape Construction Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations and progress of our landscape construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based with opportunities to work across our projects in Perth & surroundings.

Candidates must hold Australian permanent residency or equivalent work rights.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate a team of landscape construction workers, to complete project tasks on schedule and to specification & program

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service

Provide mentorship and training to develop the skills of your team members

Participate in the continuous improvement of our landscape construction processes and workflows

What we're looking for

Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials and equipment

Hands-on experience with hardscaping, softscaping, irrigation systems, retaining walls, paving/stonework, and plant installation is essential

Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications

Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams to deliver high-quality work

Technologically proficient in construction management software

Experienced in digital reporting and WHS compliance systems

Current construction industry induction card (e.g. White Card) and driver's licence

Qualifications in Construction, Horticulture or a related field is desirable
