Job summary

IOR is recruiting a Project Manager - Construction to lead end-to-end delivery of fuel infrastructure projects across Australia. You will manage planning, approvals, procurement, contractor engagement, construction activities, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality.

You will bring a degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, with strong experience in development and building approvals, budgeting, scheduling, and

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Building, or a related discipline, along with a current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.
• Demonstrated experience delivering construction projects from planning and approvals through to commissioning and handover.
• Strong knowledge of development approvals, building approvals, construction processes, and relevant Australian standards.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, budgets, schedules, and project risks while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills, project management capability, and a willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of fuel facility construction, site upgrades, and infrastructure projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, reporting, and change control to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate development applications, building approvals, consultants, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee construction activities, conduct site visits, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project performance and deliver meaningful outcomes.
