Infravision is seeking a Construction Manager, Stringing & Technology to lead planning, execution and management of transmission construction projects across Australia. You will work with pilots, ground operators, engineers and contractors to ensure delivery on time and within budget, upholding the highest quality standards.

  • Plan, manage and execute delivery of Australian projects using Infravision products and methods.
  • Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing, contractors and stakeholders to meet time, budget and quality standards.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in utility line work, field operations, UAS stringing operations, and site integration.
  • Oversee team performance and provide coaching.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules; manage scope changes.
  • Communicate with customers, regulatory agencies and the public; maintain safety and environmental compliance.

Construction Manager, Stringing & Technology
The opportunity

The Construction Manager, Stringing and Technology is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of all construction projects related to Infravision's transmission technology in Australia. This includes working with pilots, ground operators, transmission line workers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The Construction Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing new construction techniques and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Infravision's transmission projects in Australia.

What You'll Do

The successful individual will form an integral part of the Australian team delivering and representing Infravision products and values and will have flexible work arrangements when not required to be in the field supporting projects and customers.

Plan for and deliver projects
  • Plan, manage, and execute the delivery of Australian projects using Infravision products and methods
  • Work with engineers, manufacturing, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the utility line work, field operations, UAS stringing operations, construction site integration, and Infravision products
  • Oversee the performance of employees and provide feedback and coaching
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Approve and manage changes to project scope and deliverables
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, including customers, regulatory agencies, and the public
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Product Support:
  • Facilitate operator training, proficiency and currency
  • Facilitate product maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Be the primary customer point of contact to receive Infravision product feedback and improvement opportunities
  • Communicate all key customer product feedback to the manufacturing, engineering and operations functions for inclusion in product development and improvement processes
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on transmission technology and stringing methodologies
  • Proven track record of success in managing and completing complex transmission construction projects in Australia
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and supervise a team of engineers and technicians
  • Proficient in project management software and reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental legislation, policies and awareness
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
Company Expectations
  • Able and willing to conduct travel within Australia
  • Flexibility to work between Coolum and Sydney workshop / office facilities as well as project site presence
