Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking experienced Construction Managers to lead major projects across Australia. You will head multi-disciplinary site teams on large EPC-like contracts, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction/project management, an engineering or trades background, and proven ability to manage on-site contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Construction/Project Management roles.
• Engineering degree or trades background.
• Experience managing onsite Construction contractors on large Tier 1 contracts.
• Design or construction management experience in mineral resources or materials handling industries.
• Knowledge of current safety legislation in construction/mining sectors.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid National Police clearance (no older than 6 months).
• Ability to pass a full medical and DAS.
• S26 (WA) and/or G189 (QLD); current first aid and white card are essential.

• Enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and training all personnel.
• Cultivating a positive, productive work culture for a diverse team of supervisors and engineers.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and effective communication with client representatives.
• Driving project success by managing budget, schedule and overall delivery.
• Overseeing all construction operations on-site from start to handover.
• Reviewing site plans for alignment with project objectives.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with GRES/Client policies and industry standards.
