Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on major projects across Australia. You will head a multi-disciplinary team, manage on-site construction from start to commissioning, and drive safety, schedule, and budget outcomes.

The role offers 2x1 or 3x1 FIFO rosters from major cities and requires a strong leadership, engineering or trades background, and experience with Tier 1 contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Construction/Project Management.
• Engineering or trades background.
• Experience with onsite construction contractors on large Tier 1 contracts.
• Design or construction management experience within mineral resources or materials handling.
• Knowledge of safety legislation and mining construction standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid National Police clearance (within 6 months).
• Ability to pass full medical and DAS - essential.
• S26 (WA) / G189 (QLD), current first aid and white card - essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary construction teams on major projects.
• Oversee on-site construction from start to commissioning and handover.
• Maintain strong client relationships and effective communication with client representatives.
• Drive project success by managing budget, schedule, and overall delivery.
• Ensure compliance with GRES/Client policies and safe work procedures.
