Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead major projects across Australia. You will head a multi-disciplinary team, manage on-site construction from start to finish, and ensure safety, budget, and schedule adherence on EPC-style projects.

The role offers a 2x1 or 3x1 FIFO roster, with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to large-scale mineral processing projects.

Qualifications

10+ years in Construction/Project Management roles.
Professional engineering or trades background.
Experience managing onsite Construction contractors on large Tier 1 contracts.
Experience in design or construction management within mineral/resource industries.
Knowledge of safety legislation and standards in construction/mining.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Valid National Police clearance (not older than 6 months).
Ability to pass a full medical and DAS.
S26 (WA) and/or G189 (QLD), current first aid and white card are essential.

Responsibilities

Enforce safety protocols and train personnel to meet HSE standards.
Cultivate a positive, productive work culture for supervisors and engineers.
Maintain strong client relationships and effective communication with client representatives.
Drive project success by managing budget, schedule, and overall delivery.
Oversee on-site construction operations from start to commissioning and handover.
Review site plans to ensure alignment with project objectives throughout construction.
