This is a standout Brisbane opportunity for a construction lawyer who wants the full package: complex disputes work, major projects exposure, strong mentoring, real autonomy and a team that invests in its people.
You’ll join a respected national practice working on high-value construction, infrastructure and projects matters across Queensland and beyond, with direct exposure to sophisticated clients and quality legal work from day one.
The role offers rare breadth. You’ll get interesting disputes work, hands‑on client exposure, support from experienced specialists, national team connectivity and clear scope to step up over time. The salary band is $130,000-$170,000 + super, depending on your level and background.
On top of that, there are flexible working arrangements, paid parental leave, purchased leave, career break options, study leave, wellbeing support and a modern office environment. For lawyers weighing up their next move, $130,000-$170,000 + super sits alongside a genuinely attractive broader offering.
You’ll advise on disputes arising during and after project delivery across transport, social infrastructure, residential, renewables, commercial and industrial projects.
The role includes adjudications, expert determinations, litigation and arbitration, as well as preparing advice and submissions, drafting evidence, briefing counsel and experts, and helping supervise junior team members where appropriate.
You’ll likely have construction, infrastructure or project disputes experience, but strong litigation lawyers with relevant sector exposure are also worth considering.
You should be technically strong, commercially aware, organised under pressure and comfortable building trust with clients, counsel, experts and colleagues across a busy team.
