Job summary

ARA Electrical Major Projects Division Pty Ltd is seeking Expressions of Interest for Construction Electricians to join our team for the Western Harbour Tunnel project, starting early August 2026. The role is based in Rozelle, NSW, with a 12-month duration and a 5–6 day work week depending on access.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Electrical Licence, a Construction White Card, and be experienced with tunnel projects.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical license is required.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Current Driver's License is required.
• EWP High Risk + 11M License is required.
• Forklift License is not essential.
• MR License is not essential.
• Proven experience as an Electrician on a Tier 1 Project is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cable Ladder Installation.
• LV Cable Installation.
• LV Cable Terminations.
• Quality Assurance Testing and Commissioning.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Able to work in a team environment.

The Project – Western Harbour Tunnel

ARA Electrical MP has been selected by Acciona to deliver the Western Harbour Tunnel Electrical Fit Out – (South). The Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) is a substantial road transport infrastructure project creating a western bypass of the Sydney CBD, the WHT will relieve pressure on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Harbour Tunnel, Anzac Bridge and Western Distributor corridors to improve transport capacity in and around central Sydney and Sydney Harbour.

Expressions of Interest – Electrical Tradesperson ( Construction)

ARA Electrical Major Projects Division are seeking Expressions of Interest for Construction Electricians to join our team for our upcoming Western Harbour Tunnel Project starting early August 2026.

The ideal candidate will hold a Current Electrical Licence, be highly motivated and experienced with working on Tunnel Projects and possess a strong understanding of relevant safe work practices. • Sydney Major Construction EBA (Infrastructure)
• Duration – 12 Months
• Project Warehouse – Rozelle, NSW
