Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Casual Construction Assistant to support a variety of building and landscaping projects across commercial and residential sites. You will gain consistent shifts, weekly pay and the potential for permanent employment after proving yourself on site.

The role offers a starting rate of 35.11 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance. Ideal candidates have at least 12 months' experience, a Construction White Card and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labour or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card required.
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Work across a variety of industries including commercial and residential landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs and shopfitting.
• Assist qualified tradespeople and perform general labouring duties on site.
• Site preparation, material handling, digging/trenching, lifting and carrying materials.
