Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Casual Construction Assistant to join our team in Ipswich. Earn $35.11 per hour plus super and a daily travel allowance, with typical weekly earnings of $1,400+ and ongoing casual assignments.

We supply skilled casual staff to builders, landscapers, manufacturers, shopfitters and industrial businesses, with many opportunities for permanent roles after proving yourself on site.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Assist on site across multiple trades and tasks
• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging, trenching and lifting materials
• Packing, stacking and assembling products
• Assist qualified tradespeople and perform general labouring duties
