Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a reliable Casual Construction Assistant in Queensland. If you're experienced in general labour or as a Trade Assistant, this role offers consistent shifts, weekly pay and a pathway to permanent employment.

You'll work across commercial and residential projects, assist tradespeople, perform site prep, handling materials, and maintain safety on site. Immediate start with 12 months experience and a White Card preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required
