Job summary

Camco Contracting is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrator to join our Rockhampton team. This role is not entry-level and requires a strong background in administration and project support.

You will manage busy workloads, own tasks, and drive processes to completion while liaising with clients, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers across construction and insurance repair projects.

Qualifications

  • Has proven experience in an administration or project administration role.
  • Is extremely organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Can confidently manage multiple jobs, deadlines and priorities.
  • Takes initiative and follows up without prompting.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deals professionally with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • Is comfortable resolving discrepancies rather than just processing them.
  • Has good computer skills and can learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining construction and insurance repair jobs from allocation through to completion.
  • Liaising with clients, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and customers.
  • Processing and reviewing work orders, purchase orders, supplier invoices and job documentation.
  • Coordinating quotations, variations, approvals and progress claims.
  • Monitoring outstanding actions and following up clients, contractors and internal staff.
  • Maintaining accurate job records, correspondence, photos and documentation.
  • Updating job management and client portals and ensuring jobs are kept current.
  • Assisting with accounts administration, invoicing and payment follow-ups.
  • Supporting supervisors and management with day-to-day project administration.
  • General office administration as required.

Camco Contracting is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrator to join our Rockhampton team. This is not an entry-level administration position. We are looking for someone with strong administration experience who is confident managing a busy workload, taking ownership of tasks and following matters through to completion without requiring constant direction.

  • Works well within a team but is equally capable of working independently
  • Experience within construction, insurance repairs, building, trades, facilities maintenance or a similar fast-paced industry is highly desirable
