Job summary

Bidfood Richlands is seeking reliable, hard-working staff to join the Consolidation Team at our Brisbane warehouse. You will help prepare customer orders quickly and accurately, working across freezer, chiller and dry zones to ensure on-time deliveries.

Shifts run Sunday to Thursday, afternoon; no desk work involved. Prior warehouse or picking experience is a bonus, forklift licence is desirable, and you’ll join a large, supportive national employer with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and the ability to operate in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work in a cold environment.
• Good time management and strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and meet daily targets in a team setting.
• Experience in a warehouse or picking role is a bonus, not required.

Are you looking for steady work and being part of a great team in a role that fits your lifestyle? Bidfood Richlands is looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our Consolidation Team at our warehouse. Shifts will be Sunday to Thursday, working the afternoon shift.

Bidfood is Australia's leading foodservice distributor, and so this role involves picking and packing orders for some of the country's busiest cafés, restaurants and institutions. It suits someone who wants to work hard, stay active and be part of a well-run operation - without being stuck behind a desk.

About the role

This role is all about getting customer orders ready quickly, accurately and with care. You'll work in freezer, chiller and dry areas, helping make sure deliveries go out on time, every time.

Your day will include:

• Consolidate and assemble pallets in preparation for the delivery driver's orders
• Load trucks for dispatch
• Picking and assembling orders to spec
• Moving between dry, chilled and frozen zones
• Keeping your area clean, organised and safe
• Helping your team meet daily targets
• Supporting the warehouse team when needed

You might have experience in a warehouse, kitchen or similar fast-paced environment, but the most important thing is your attitude. If you're reliable, willing to learn and ready to work, we'll show you the rest.

Skills and experience

You'll bring a solid work ethic, a practical mindset and the ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will also be:

• Forklift licence (desirable)

• Comfortable working in cold environments (down to -25°C)
• Previous warehouse or picking experience is a bonus, but not a must
