Qualifications

• Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
• Cert III/Diploma in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent.
• OHS Green/White Card is mandatory for field work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Willingness to learn and follow environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Weed Management: identify and control invasive weed species.
• Habitat Management: assist in restoration of wetlands, forests and grasslands.
• Planting: participate in planting native species to promote biodiversity.
• Land Management: erosion control, soil stabilization, restoration of natural areas.
• Invasive Species Management: identify and manage invasive flora and fauna.
• Surveying: conduct environmental surveys and monitor habitats.
• Community Engagement: participate in education and conservation activities.
• Equipment Maintenance: care for tools and equipment used in field tasks.
• Reporting and Documentation: keep records of activities and outcomes.
• Collaboration: work with team members, scientists and communities.
