Job summary

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) invites applications for an Assistant Operations Officer based in Denham, Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time role within the Midwest Region, focusing on conservation delivery and fire management across the region's lands and waters.

You will work under direction to organise field operations and liaise with staff and stakeholders to implement work programs.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge (Level 1) and experience (Level 2) in natural land management or related field.
• Broad understanding of planning and implementing works programs.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as part of a team and independently; travel and camping when required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the delivery of conservation and fire management within the Midwest Region.
• Organises, implements and ensures progress of allocated field operations according to guidelines.
• Liaises with departmental personnel and stakeholders to implement work programs.
