Babcock Australasia is seeking a Configuration Management Capability Lead to join our Engineering, Technology and Program Management (ETaP) function. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and driving the Configuration Management (CM) capability across our Australasia operations, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our products and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders across current programs and future opportunities, enabling capability development and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Engineering Workforce Capability Manager and the Systems Engineering Capability Manager, you will lead the development of CM learning programs, career pathways, regional processes and systems. Your expertise will guide the implementation of integrated CM solutions, the creation of project-specific plans, and the maintenance of configuration baselines and technical datasets. You’ll be instrumental in conducting complex technical investigations, producing high-quality documentation, and presenting technical information to internal and external customers. This role also involves contributing to business development, succession planning, and process improvement initiatives. Some travel within Australia and overseas will be required.
