Job summary

Fortescue is seeking a professional to support the Condition Monitoring Team at the Iron Bridge project. You will perform routine condition monitoring inspections on critical fixed plant equipment and contribute to reports, corrective actions, and data management while operating on a FIFO roster ex-Perth.

Key qualifications include mechanical/electrical trades or relevant qualification, vibration certification, UT, MLA II and thermography, with strong communication and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Vibration CAT II/III certification.
• UT Level I certification for Ultrasonic Thickness inspection.
• MLA II certification for machinery lubrication analysis.
• Thermography Level I certification.
• Valid C class driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Complete vibration analysis, NDT, thermography and other condition monitoring inspections of onsite equipment.
• Analyse, generate reports and highlight corrective actions to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Assist with root cause analysis and investigations for maintenance, production or engineering groups.
• Maintain role-specific databases including MHM, ALS Webretrieve and PDS.
• Install and maintain remote vibration monitoring systems.
