Job summary

Concrete by joe on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated concreter or trainee to join our on-site team and learn the finer side of honed, exposed aggregate, polished concrete, floating steps, driveways and pool surrounds.

You’ll work directly with me, be physically active, reliable, enthusiastic and take pride in quality. School leavers are welcome, and you’ll gain hands-on experience across formwork, reinforcing, pouring and finishing while committing to a long-term role.

Job description

We specialise in honed and exposed aggregate concrete, polished concrete, floating steps, driveways, pool surrounds and custom architectural feature work.

This is a full-time, on-the-books position working directly with me and learning the finer side of the concrete industry.

The role

You’ll be involved in all aspects of our work including:

Honed concrete

Exposed aggregate

Polished concrete

Floating and architectural steps

Driveways and pool surrounds

Custom concrete features

Formwork, reinforcing, pouring and finishing

For the right trainee, experience isn’t essential. I’m more interested in finding someone with the right attitude who wants to learn, improve and stay with the business long term.

For an experienced concreter, I’m looking for someone who understands quality and wants to work on more detailed architectural projects rather than basic everyday concrete.

Full-time employment. Not looking for subcontractors.
