Job summary

GMHS is seeking a skilled Concreter for on-site work on bespoke projects in the Melbourne area. You will handle formwork, pouring and finishing of slabs, footings, kerb & channel, and drainage works.

The role requires reading plans, operating mixers, vibrators and screeds, and delivering high-quality workmanship with strict safety adherence.

This full-time role involves working on bespoke concrete projects requiring precision and craftmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and pour concrete foundations, slabs, and other structures according to project specifications
• Perform concrete finishing and smoothing tasks to ensure a professional finish
• Operate and maintain concrete equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely and successful project delivery

About you

• Significant experience as a Concreter, preferably in a civil construction environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficient in the use of concrete equipment and tools, including mixers, vibrators, and screeds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work safely and adhere to all relevant regulations and procedures
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in concrete work or construction
