Job summary

Global Concrete Testing is seeking a Concrete Tester in Melbourne to join a state-of-the-art laboratory. You will perform onsite tests, maintain records, and deliver reports to clients within required timeframes.

The role requires at least 2 years' concrete testing experience, knowledge of Australian Standards 1012, and a valid White Card with working rights in Australia. You will work with a collaborative team and support calibration of lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a concrete testing role.
• Comprehensive understanding of concrete testing standards and procedures.
• A current manual driver’s licence, Construction White Card, and valid Australian working rights (mandatory).
• Competent computer skills for data entry and report preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Performing onsite physical testing of concrete in accordance with Australian Standards 1012 and VicRoads Testing Standards
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all testing activities
• Completing accurate field test records and submitting reports to clients within required timeframes
• Ensuring timely delivery of samples to laboratories in line with NATA-specified requirements
• Participating in the ongoing development and improvement of testing methods and procedures
• Providing support to clients as required
• Assisting with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective laboratory operation

Job description

As a Concrete Tester at Global Concrete Testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects across Melbourne. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this full-time position will see you conducting a range of concrete testing and analysis in our state‑of‑the‑art laboratory. With a focus on delivering accurate and timely results, you will be an integral part of the team supporting the construction industry.

What you'll be doing
