Job summary

Apprise Consulting Ltd is seeking suitably qualified concreters for a permanent full-time role in the Mackay region, Queensland, Australia. The position requires setting up and erecting concrete form works and laying reinforcing, followed by pouring and finishing concrete.

You will ensure accurate curing and protection, read specifications, and work independently or in a team. Salary ranges from AU$75,000 to AU$85,000 per year plus super.

Qualifications

• Relevant training and/or certifications in concrete labour.
• Proven hands-on experience in this field.

Responsibilities

• Set up and erect concrete form works and lay reinforcing.
• Pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete using screeds and templates.
• Install wiring mesh to reinforce and secure concrete.
• Form expansion joints and edges with edging tools.
• Cure and protect concrete during setting.
• Read specifications and meet job requirements.
