Job summary

A leading construction materials company is seeking a Concrete Plant Batcher/Shipper in Ipswich, QLD. This role primarily involves batching concrete to quality standards and meeting customer requirements. Ideal candidates should have strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Training is provided for the computerized batching system. Flexible working hours will be required, including Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in computerized batching systems is desirable but training is provided.
• Must possess an HR driver's license.

PRONTO CONCRETE (a part of Barro Group) is seeking a Concrete Plant Batcher/Shipper whose primary focus will involve batching and allocating concrete in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Position available at Ipswich Qld

Training provided - applicants who have a genuine desire to learn and possess the ability should apply.

The key responsibilities:

• Meet customer requirements by ensuring quality product delivered
• Accurate batching of orders utilising the Command Batch computer system
• Allocation of trucks ensuring timely concrete deliveries
• Undertake batch plant administration including stock control of raw materials
• General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance
• Follow company systems including working safely

The key skills, experience and attributes:

• Knowledge or experience in computerised batching system is desirable but not essential - training provided
• An ability to multi task and at times work under pressure
• Possess an excellent customer service phone manner
• Current HR driver's licence would be an advantage
• Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• A proven ability to work within a team environment
• The nature of our work requires you to work as part of a team and you will need to be flexible with how your hours are worked Monday to Saturday as there will be varying start and finish times.
