Robust Concrete in Townsville is seeking a Concrete Agitator Truck Driver for a full-time role. The position covers Garbutt and surrounding areas, requiring operation of HR concrete agitator trucks and delivery to sites across the Townsville region.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance and efficient service. Immediate start is available with salary in the AUD 75k–85k range plus superannuation and overtime.

Formación

• Valid HR Driver Licence (essential).
• 1–2 years of HR truck driving experience.
• Experience operating concrete agitator trucks preferred; training provided.
• Sound knowledge of Australian road safety and transport regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Drive and operate heavy rigid HR concrete agitator trucks.
• Deliver concrete to construction sites, batching plants, and infrastructure projects.
• Perform daily pre-start and safety inspections.
• Ensure safe loading, transport, and unloading of concrete per requirements.
• Complete and maintain delivery docs, logbooks and trip records.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report mechanical faults or maintenance needs.
• Comply with NHVR regulations, fatigue management, mass and load restraint rules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation to company standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch, plant operators and site personnel.

Job Description

Location: Garbutt (4814), Townsville, QLD, and surrounding areas within the Townsville region. Position: Concrete Agitator Truck Driver (Full-Time positions) | Immediate start Salary: $75,000-$85,000 Annually (based on skills and experience) + superannuation + overtime We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers to join our Townsville operations on a full-time basis. The successful applicants will be responsible for operating heavy rigid concrete agitator trucks, transporting and delivering ready-mixed concrete to construction sites and infrastructure projects while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Task & responsibilities

• Driving and operating heavy rigid (HR) concrete agitator trucks for the transportation of concrete
• Delivering concrete to construction sites, batching plants, and infrastructure projects
• Conducting daily pre-start and safety inspections
• Ensuring safe loading, transport, and unloading of concrete in accordance with operational requirements
• Completing and maintaining delivery documentation, logbooks, and trip records
• Monitoring vehicle condition and reporting mechanical faults or maintenance requirements
• Complying with NHVR regulations, fatigue management, mass and load restraint requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in line with company standards
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, plant operators, and site personnel

Qualification & experience

• Valid HR Driver Licence (essential)
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant HR Truck driving experience
• Experience operating concrete agitator trucks (preferred but not essential – training provided)
• Sound knowledge of road safety, transport regulations, and compliance requirements in Australia
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment with flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, safety-focused approach to work
• White Card preferred
