Job summary

Rontrans Pty Ltd in Gladstone, Queensland is seeking a skilled Concrete Agitator Truck Driver to transport materials safely to project sites across the region.

The successful candidate will start on a probationary basis with a path to full-time employment after successful completion. Training will be provided to ensure competency in loading, unloading and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence (HR) is required.
• Australian citizenship is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle operation, road safety and load securing practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles up to Heavy Rig (agitator experience).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Comply with road traffic laws and logbook requirements.
• Assist with loading/unloading using appropriate equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with clients and team members.
• Maintain detailed delivery records and incidents.
• Contribute to safety and efficiency in transport operations.

Heavy Equipment Maintenance – Gladstone QLD

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Agitator Truck Driver to join our team at Rontrans Pty Ltd in Gladstone, Queensland. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of materials to project sites across the region.

The successful candidate will initially be employed on a probationary basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position upon successful completion of the probation period. Training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Heavy Vehicles up to Heavy Rigid (agitator experience).
• Minimum 1-2 years of agitator truck driving experience is required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe and roadworthy condition
• Comply with all relevant road traffic laws and regulations, including driving hours and logbook requirements
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents or issues encountered
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety and efficiency within the transport operations

What We're Looking For
