Holcim in Cairns is seeking a Concrete Agitator Driver to connect our team with local construction projects. You will operate modern agitator trucks delivering concrete to clients while contributing to a supportive and respectful team culture.

Full training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed from day one, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and reliable service across the region.

Qualifications

• Valid HR driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience, agitator bonus.
• Strong commitment to safety on road and site.
• Clear interpersonal communication with dispatchers and sites.
• Ability to handle physical tasks and stay focused.

Responsibilities

• Safe operations: transport concrete to delivery sites using modern agitator trucks.
• Vehicle safety: conduct pre/post-trip checks and report maintenance needs.
• Customer interaction: represent Holcim positively on site.
• Compliance: follow road safety rules and complete delivery records.

What We're Looking For

• License Requirements: A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Driving Experience: Previous heavy vehicle driving experience (on-road HR experience). Agitator experience is a bonus, but comprehensive hands-on training is provided.
• Safety First Mindset: Dedicated to personal safety, site safety, and responsible driving practices.
• Communication Skills: Clear interpersonal skills to liaise with dispatchers, plant managers, and site teams.
• Adaptability & Drive: Ability to handle physical tasks associated with vehicle management and maintain focus in a dynamic environment.
