Bupa Optical Brisbane Adelaide St is seeking a part-time Concierge to welcome customers, guide them across Optical and Health Insurance services, and connect them with the right solutions. You’ll empower digital tools and self-service options while delivering a seamless store experience.

The role emphasizes first impressions, soft-skill triage, and proactive support, with opportunities to help customers navigate digital services and improve journeys across business units.

The purpose of this job is…

The Concierge is the first point of contact for customers and plays a pivotal role in creating a seamless and welcoming experience across both the Health Insurance and Optical and Hearing business units. The Concierge will act as the central wayfinding specialist ensuring customers are connected to the right service or solution efficiently and effectively. The role is also responsible for digitally empowering customers by supporting the adoption and use of digital tools, self-service bookings and cross referring between the two business units.

The Concierge contributes to an exceptional customer experience by reducing customer effort, supporting smooth customer journeys, and creating positive first impressions that strengthen customer relationships

What you’ll need to make it possible:

Deliver an exceptional first impression for all customers entering the store.

Welcome, triage and direct customers based on their needs.

Manage customer expectations regarding appointments and wait times.

Proactively identify customers requiring additional support.

Possess working knowledge of both Optical and Health Insurance services.

Guide customers between business units without requiring them to restart their journey.

Facilitate warm handovers between team members.

Assist customers in using digital tools, mobile applications, online booking systems, and self-service platforms.

Educate customers on available digital services and benefits.

Support customers to navigate and complete digital transactions confidently and independently.

Maintain presentation and readiness of customer-facing areas.

Support appointment coordination where required.

Capture customer insights and feedback to improve experiences.
