Job summary

PharmacySmart Compounding in Balwyn North, VIC, is seeking a full-time Compounding Pharmacy Lab Technician to support pharmacists in preparing customised medications. The role is based in our facility with potential availability at East Melbourne.

You will measure, mix and prepare creams, ointments, solutions, and suspensions, perform QA testing, maintain records, manage equipment and inventory, and work with a clinical team to resolve any issues while following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a compounding pharmacy technician or in a similar role (highly desirable)
• A Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy, or equivalent qualification is desirable (but not mandatory)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Strong communication
