Job summary

NSW Health’s Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join our surgical wards on a 12-hour shift model. We offer permanent full-time and/or part-time roles across four surgical wards, focusing on orthopaedic, urology, neurology, spinal, and general surgery.

As a high-volume surgical hub, the role requires a current Division 1 RN with AHPRA registration, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team while delivering high-quality patient

What you'll be doing
Northern Beaches Hospital's High Volume Surgical Hub is now up and running and we need dedicated nurses to support this new model of care as patients return from theatre and are brought to the wards. The Hub will offer a high volume case mix to keep the day to day interesting!

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
• A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
