Churches of Christ Home Care Southern Downs is seeking caring Home Care Workers to assist seniors at home with daily tasks, companionship and social support. Training is provided to support you in this role.

You will provide friendly companionship, help with light cleaning, meal preparation, shopping, and transport to appointments, supporting independence in a home setting. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Individual Support.
• Current driver’s license and a registered, comprehensively insured vehicle for work.
• Current police check.
• Australian Work Rights – sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
• Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
• Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.
