Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is hiring a Personal Carer to support clients in the Hervey Bay area. The role focuses on compassionate, in-home care, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence in the community.

As a Personal Carer, you will provide essential support, build relationships with clients and their families, and follow individualised care plans. This permanent part-time position requires weekends and evenings availability and offers not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy in client-facing care.
• Ability to manage time and scheduling across multiple visits.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans and policies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client homes for scheduled visits.
• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, chores).
• Support clients with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Implement care plans and monitor client well-being.
• Assist with community activities and social engagement.
