Job summary

Opal HealthCare's Joslin Manor Care Community in Adelaide, SA, is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents with daily living, meals, mobility and dignity; join a team focused on compassion and excellence.

You will complete pre-employment checks, hold a Certificate III/IV in a relevant field, and work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. This permanent part-time role offers a base rate with penalties and 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability Nursing student.
• Caring approach and strong communication with residents and families.
• Reliability and availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to complete pre-employment checks (police check, NDIS clearance, medical).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Contribute to a warm, respectful and supportive care community.
• Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements.
