Job summary

Eldercare is hiring a Personal Care Assistant at Mt Barker. You will provide person-centred care, follow care plans, and support residents with daily living tasks in a respectful manner.

The role requires at least 6 shifts per fortnight, with various morning/afternoon/night shifts available. Certificate III in Ageing or equivalent and 6 months' experience are preferred, along with Australian working rights and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience after receipt of qualification.
• Existing working rights in Australia.
• A genuine passion to provide person-centred care.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in a dignified and respectful manner.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
• Assist with personal care/hygiene, daily living tasks and mobility.
