Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to join the Service Support team in Derwent Bridge, TAS. You will collect, launder, process and deliver linen while coordinating with managers to resolve laundry issues.

The role supports residents with dementia and complex care needs in an aged care setting. Ideal candidates have previous laundry experience and strong communication skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laundry facility desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Infection control and safe manual handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collect, launder, process and deliver linen to internal and external customers.
• Communicate with Managers and staff to ensure timely action on laundry issues.
• Adhere to HammondCare policies and procedures.
