Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd in Mackay, Queensland is seeking Assistants in Nursing to join our clinical team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will assist residents with daily living activities and contribute to their comfort and wellbeing under guidance of registered nurses.

You will document care accurately, support mobility, and uphold infection control standards while delivering compassionate, empathetic care to residents and families in a safe environment.

Formación

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and records.
• Provide a caring and empathetic attitude towards residents and families.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily living activities as part of the clinical team.
• Monitor and report health status, including vital signs and wellbeing.
• Support registered nurses in delivering high-quality care.
• Maintain resident records in accordance with healthcare standards.
• Assist in resident mobility and positioning.
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff.
