MiCare Ltd is seeking a caring Assistant in Nursing to join our residential aged care home in Birkdale. You will provide person-centred care and support residents with daily living activities while helping maintain independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Working alongside our clinical and care teams, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Experience in residential or community aged care is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of person-centred care, infection control and safe manual handling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and manual handling.
• Assist with meals, nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage participation in lifestyle and recreational activities.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and care needs.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver exceptional care.
