Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is seeking casual Assistants in Nursing to deliver compassionate, patient-centred care across Westmead, Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals.

You’ll support Registered Nurses and Midwives with routine tasks, personal care and accurate documentation to help ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or equivalent with acute care experience
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to use information technology systems
• Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable within scope of practice as an AIN

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with routine technical support and procedures
• Provide personal care, mobility and daily needs support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for safe care delivery
• Contribute to a collaborative model of care and meet patient needs
• Promote safety through effective communication and incident reporting
