Care South is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at St Ives Country House in Ashley Heath. The role is 24 hours per week across two shifts, with alternating weekends. Choose 07:00-19:00 or 07:30-19:30, discussion at interview with the Home Manager.

You will assist in basic meal prep, support residents at mealtimes, ensure safety and cleanliness, and maintain hygienic kitchen and dining areas. Training and development are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a kitchen environment desirable.
• Ability to support residents during mealtimes.
• Willingness to work in a busy care setting.

Aufgaben

• Support the Chef and kitchen team with basic meal prep.
• Follow food safety and health & safety rules.
• Help residents enjoy their dining experience.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic.
• Wash cooking appliances and crockery; sanitise prep areas.
