Job summary

Right at Home Melbourne North is seeking caring Personal Care Workers to support older Australians and people living with disabilities in their own homes across Doncaster, Templestowe, Reservoir, and Preston areas.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and aiding with errands as needed. Must hold Certificate III in Individual Support and valid First Aid/ CPR, with a driver’s license and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is required.
• Working with Children Check is preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Provide light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes and tidying living areas.
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Support clients with medication reminders and safety.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Follow individual care plans and report changes to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
