Job summary

Ozcare is seeking compassionate In Home Support Workers to join the North Lakes Aged Care at Home team, delivering practical assistance and social support to older adults in their homes across North Lakes and surrounding areas.

You will help with daily tasks, provide companionship, and support clients to remain independent. The role offers flexible shifts within a part-time arrangement and a values-driven workplace dedicated to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in home support, community care, aged care, disability support or similar role.
• Caring, patient and respectful approach to supporting older people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work across a varied roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality home support services to promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Undertake domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Assist with shopping, transport and community access.
• Provide social support and companionship to clients.
• Monitor and report changes in client wellbeing to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Collaborate with the broader care team for positive client outcomes.
• Participate in training, meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
