Job summary

Silverchain Group is seeking a Care Worker in Hobart and surrounding areas to support aged care clients at home. The role involves general housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and personal care tasks with emphasis on maintaining independence and wellbeing.

Applicants should have at least 3 months in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications, plus a valid Australian Driver's Licence and their own insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide home help services including housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry.
• Deliver personal care such as getting clients out of bed, showering and dressing, and assisting with medications.
• Support mobility, transport clients to activities or appointments, and provide social and emotional support.
