UPA Aged Care Solutions is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older people living independently in the Northern Rivers region, based in Ballina. You’ll deliver person‑centred in‑home care, promote wellness and quality of life, and help clients stay connected to their community.

The role offers guaranteed hours for permanent/part‑time arrangements, plus training and development opportunities within a supportive, not‑for‑profit organisation.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Individual Support and Aged Care (highly desirable)
Current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel
Registered and insured vehicle
Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Deliver individualised care using a person‑centred approach as per client care plans
Assist with personal care, medications, transport, and respite services
Provide everyday living support such as domestic assistance, gardening, shopping, and meal preparation
Complete accurate and timely reporting of client services
Identify and report client risks via our incident management system
