Job summary

HammondCare Home Care is looking for compassionate casual Home Care Workers to support older people across Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas. You will travel to clients’ homes using your own car, providing practical care and companionship to enable independent living.

Anyone with a caring nature, a valid driver’s licence, and flexibility to work across weekends and shifts is encouraged to apply. Training is provided, and great benefits accompany this role at HammondCare.

Qualifications

• You have prior experience in aged or community care, or you are starting your career in aged care.
• You hold a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car.
• Ideally, you have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential, practical care for older people to help them live independently at home.
• Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship as part of daily care.
• Travel to clients’ homes using your own car (paid travel time and 1.05c/km).
