Job summary

My Guardian Group in New South Wales is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our team, delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort and independence for clients across NSW. Travel to Lake Munmorah 2259 will be required.

You will provide companionship, help with light household tasks, monitor health, and maintain accurate care records while upholding privacy and safeguarding. Prior domestic assistance experience is preferred; relevant certifications such as First Aid, NDIS

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
• Sponsorship opportunities for the right candidate
• Permanent opportunities for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.
