Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) seeks a compassionate Home Care worker to provide personalised in-home support in and around Moama. The role offers a permanent part-time arrangement with 20 hours per fortnight and flexible shifts from 08:00–16:00, to suit client needs.

You will assist with meals, transport, personal care, light domestic tasks and medication support, working independently in clients’ homes with strong community involvement.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support or AIN qualification is essential.
Demonstrated compassion and empathy for older people.
Current driver’s license and car with full insurance.
NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Meal assistance and meal preparation for clients.
Transport, appointments, and accompaniment to activities.
Social support and community outings.
Personal care, showering and self-care tasks.
Light domestic assistance and cleaning.
Medication assistance as required.
