Job summary

Southern Cross Care WA is seeking Domestic Assistants to support home care clients by maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment at home. You will drive between clients with your own vehicle, guided by care plans and partnered with our Client Care Coordinators.

No formal aged care experience is required, but a dedication to respectful, high-quality service and privacy is essential. Training and support will be provided to help you thrive in this not-for-profit,

Qualifications

Experience assisting someone with domestic duties.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well.
The ability to use mobile technology and apps with ease.
A genuine desire to go above and beyond for our clients.
Own reliable motor vehicle and valid WA driver’s license.
Driving confidence on Australian roads & during peak hours as required.

Responsibilities

Undertake domestic duties according to specific Care Plan requirements.
Provide feedback to client care coordinators if you notice any client behaviour that might require a new assessment.
Conduct yourself in a pleasant & professional manner.
Make sure that each client is satisfied with services provided.
Complete documentation as required.
Attend & contribute to Support Worker & Domestic Assistant meetings.
