• A person-centered, warm, patient and genuinely caring soul.
• Interest or experience in complex care, disability, and health nuances.

• Flexible and adaptable; comfortable with changing needs and shifts.
• Optional but nice: Manual handling, epilepsy management, or disability-support training.

Responsibilities

• Chat with the client (and family/advocates) to understand goals and routines.
• Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks and devices as outlined in the plan.
• Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Support decision-making, respect consent, and boost independence where possible.
• Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being.

What you’ll do

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being

Roster lines available:

Line 3 (52 hrs/fortnight)

Week 1

• Mon: 3:00pm to 8:30pm
• Thu: 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Fri: 9:00am to 2:00pm
• Sat: 9:00am to 2:30pm
• Sun: 9:00am to 2:00pm

Week 2

• Mon: 7:00am to 12:00pm
• Thursday: 7:00am to 12:00pm
• Fri: 9:00am to 2:00pm
• Sat: 9:00am to 2:00pm
• Sun: 9:00am to 2:00pm

Line 4 (48.5 hrs/fortnight)

Week 1

• Mon: 7:00am to 12:00pm
• Tue: 7:00am to 12:00pm
• Fri: 7:00am to 12:00pm
• Sat: 7:00am to 12:00pm
• Sun: 9:00am to 2:30pm

Week 2

• Mon: 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Thu: 9:00am to 3:00pm

Line 5 (37.5 hrs/fortnight)

• Mon: Sleepover 4:30pm to 7:00am
• Tue: Sleepover 4:30pm to 7:00am
• Wed: Sleepover 4:30pm to 7:00am

Week 2

• Mon: 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Tue: 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Wed: 9:00am to 3:00pm
