Job summary

CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is hiring Disability Support Workers for the Gold Coast South including Mermaid Beach, Carrara and Robina. Casual and permanent part-time roles are available, with pay based on experience up to $47 per hour.

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll help people live independently, assist with meals, daily tasks, mobility and community activities. Training is provided and there are clear opportunities for career growth in a supportive, person-centred team.

Qualifications

• A passion for helping others and delivering great customer service.
• Excellent listening and respectful communication skills.
• Commitment to working collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (assistance available).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• No two days are the same — you’ll support people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Supporting someone to get out into the community.
• Attending appointments or social activities.
• Medication support and mobility assistance (including hoists where required).
