Job summary

National Networks Plus is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team for a casual role supporting a young non-verbal female client in Brisbane North. You will transport the client for appointments, assist with light domestic duties and social support, and maintain positive relationships with the person supported.

Applicants should hold Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent, current First Aid/ CPR, NDIS worker screening, and a valid driver's license if

Qualifications

• Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Recent experience in similar disability support roles.

Responsibilities

• Transporting the client to community access and appointments.
• Assist with light domestic duties and social support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the person supported.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and team members.
• Respond to crisis situations and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and program outcomes.
