Job summary

Bupa Seaforth is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our 76-resident aged care home near Sydney. You will maintain a hygienic, safe environment, clean patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas with empathy for residents.

Your role includes light laundry and catering support as needed, and you will report on cleanliness standards in line with regulations. An ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is flexible across shifts, and values teamwork.

Qualifications

• Cert III Hospitality is preferred.
• Aged care experience is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and catering
