Opal HealthCare is seeking a Housekeeping Service Officer at Glen Osmond Grove Care Community in Adelaide's east to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, visitors and staff. You will work across resident rooms, bathrooms, and dining spaces, ensuring high cleaning standards and infection-control compliance.

This permanent part-time role offers hourly pay and 12% superannuation, with mentoring, study sponsorships up to 15,000, and a supportive, values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Respectful and compassionate approach when working around residents.
• Good communication skills and a professional manner.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and instructions.
• Physically capable of undertaking cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical, NDIS, and National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and staff areas to a high standard.
• Follow infection control procedures and safe cleaning practices at all times.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
• Restock supplies and maintain clean, organised storage areas.
• Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
• Support laundry duties when required, including handling linen and residents’ personal items with care.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, visitors and team members.
• Contribute to a warm, homely and respectful environment for residents.
